Kyly and Michael Clarke’s lavish christening for baby Kelsey

Definitely better than just some cake and coffee at the local church.

She might only be nine-months-old but little Kelsey Lee Clarke has already been thrown the party of a lifetime.

Michael and Kyly Clarke’s baby daughter was christened at the weekend and it seems her parents spared no expense to celebrate their bub’s milestone.

The Australian cricket captain and his wife put on a spread that would have many confuse the occasion for a wedding.

With a firm gold, pink and white colour theme the little angel’s event featured a customised three-tier cake, a feature wall made entirely of flowers, balloons, cupcakes and the whole shebang.

Kyly, 35, was keen to show off the celebration on Instagram and shout out to all of the bakers and florists who helped create the lavish affair.

“The most amazing day for our special little angel. May god bless you!”, wrote Kyly under a picture post of her daughter’s ah-mazing dessert table.

Dad Michael also took to social media to share a picture of family in front of the church and a shot with his wife and daughter huddled around the cross decorated cake.

“The perfect day! Great people, stunning set up.” Michael cooed.

We can’t wait to see how the couple will celebrate Kelsey’s first birthday in November!

“The most amazing day for our special little angel. May god bless you!” wrote proud mum Kyly under this sweet snap of the dessert table.

The christening also fell on Father’s Day so Kyly took a sweet snap of herself with her dad.
