Any parent with a child who has learning disabilities knows it can sometimes be hard for them to fit in when they feel like they stick out.

It was a struggle just like this that prompted mother-of-three, Eleanor, to create this book. The โ€˜short storyโ€™, Cotton Can, was written and developed by Eleanor, and her three daughters, aged 5, 6 and 8, about finding โ€˜beautifulโ€™ in โ€˜differentโ€™, and believing in your own abilities.

Eleanor states that Cotton Can, which was written in celebration of Learning Disabilities Week 2015, was a commentary โ€œabout how you see things. Just because we learn differently, doesnโ€™t mean we canโ€™t.โ€
