Aussie actress and famed media personality Kate Ritchie has provided fans with a rare photo of her five-year-old daughter Mae โ and itโs come with an important plea.
As she gears up to celebrate Easter with her daughter this year, the former Home and Away actress is using her profile for a good cause, and the mother-daughter duo make the ultimate dream team.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the 41-year-old mum shared an image of herself and Mae posing with what appears to be an Easter egg sticker โ and it was the message on said sticker that really struck a chord.
โThis Easter is different.. But the need for blood is not!โ She began.
โMake this Easter different for a good reason. Give life. Give blood. If youโre feeling well and havenโt been overseas in the last 28 days, book a donation today because we need 29,000 donations each week. Please be one of them!โ She finished.

Kate shared a candid photo of herself and daughter Mae with a simple plea to donate blood this Easter.

โOh my goodness Mae is so pretty,โ mused one fan.
โMiss you cuties. happy Easter,โ another friend wrote.

Kate rarely shares pictures with her young daughter, but when she does, theyโre nothing short of heavenly.
(Instagram / @kateritchieofficial)Kate is usually very private when it comes to sharing her personal life with fans, which is why the picture of Mae is all the more special.
The last time fans got a glimpse of the actressโ adorable daughter was at the end of 2019 when Kate shared a beautiful image of the five-year-old contemplating the beach.
Clearly a budding surfer, Ritchie wrote of her daughter: โChecking the surf ๐๐ผ๐ฆ๐บ๐โ๏ธ๐๐๐ #surfergirl #thankssanta.โ
Kate is hugely passionate about driving blood donations โ and Mae seems to be right on board with it.
A few months ago, Ritchie shared another sweet photo of her daughter posing with cookies over her face, which were incidentally decked out with LifeBlood branding, urging people to donate blood to the Red Cross.
Going by this, and her most recent photo, it looks like Mae is turning out to be just as inspiring as her mum!

Doing good, with a delicious twist! Kate and Mae are on board with blood donations.
