Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, are expecting a little girl. The actress took to Instagram to reveal why she’s been MIA on social media these days, and it’s because she’s had severe morning sickness.
“If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick!” she began. “It’s was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about Insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been.” She continued, “If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing… I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way.”

Last month, a source told Life & Style that the actress was ready for baby No. 3. Kate — who’s already mom to sons Ryder, 14, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 6, with ex Matt Bellamy — was hoping for a girl this time around.
“Kate’s coming up on her 39th birthday in April and she’s been telling friends that she wants another child. Danny’s on the same page. They want a baby together,” the source shared. Not only was Danny on board with the idea, but Ryder and Bingham were too — although they had their fingers crossed for a boy.
The happy couple are moving full speed ahead when it comes to their future together. They’re planning on getting hitched this summer, and prior to the big news, our insider claimed, “She could be a pregnant bride. They’re both fine with that,” the source said. Well, that’s good!
Kate and Danny met more than 10 years ago while she was pregnant with Ryder. She explained in an Instagram post on their one-year anniversary that his sisters are her best friends so they have been running “in the same circle for over a decade!” She reminisced about their first date — which she didn’t realize was even a date at the time — and how things quickly changed in the months afterward.
Although it took a couple of weeks to figure out their feelings for each other, it’s not all that shocking that Kate and Danny are getting married and having a baby together after understanding their history. The source told Life & Style, “Kate feels that she’s found her soulmate.” Congrats to the happy couple!
