For months now speculation has been swirling that Karl Stefanovic’s fiancée, Jasmine Yarbrough is pregnant with the couple’s first child together. And finally the TODAY breakfast TV host has addressed the gossip, shutting down any suggestion that he is set to become a father for a forth time.
Addressing the rumours, Karl, 42, told The Daily Telegraph‘s Sydney Confidential: “She’s definitely not pregnant.”
Speculation that Karl’s 32-year-old girlfriend was expecting a baby started after the couple held a commitment ceremony in Sydney’s Palm Beach in March. Since the private party, many have taken to bump-watch, analysing the fashion designer’s Instagram snaps and questioning whether she was hiding a growing baby belly under floaty dresses.
“One hundred per cent no, she’s not pregnant,” Karl said. “We are all good. We are working hard. We’re keeping under the radar and this is going to be a great night,” Karl explained.
The couple supported The Sydney Children’s Hospital by attending their annual Gold Dinner fundraiser on the wharf at Walshe Bay on Wednesday night.
Karl has three children to ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn. He and Jasmine started dating in 2017.
Though Karl and Jasmine try to ‘keep under the radar,’ the former-model-turned-shoe-designer gave fans a behind-the-scenes peek into her everyday with the larger than life media personality, in a revealing interview.
For starters, she watches her soon-to-be husband co-host Today each morning before beginning her day.
“I wake around seven o’clock on weekdays. I make myself hot water with lemon and put on the Today show to get my fix of news,” the 34-year-old revealed in a new interview with Grazia.
“Then I have a coffee and a slice of toast with avocado… It’s truly the only part of the day when I get to be by myself away from phones and emails. It’s valuable thinking time before I get going and I absolutely love it.”
Jasmine, who co-founded Australian footwear label Mara and Mine with business partner Tamie Ingham, explained that she prefers to stay home from Sunday through to Wednesday. But come Thursday she has other plans.
“Thursday nights I like to have date night with my partner. It could be dinner at a restaurant in town but we mainly stay local. We love supporting local businesses and restaurants,” she told the publication.
“The time together in our busy worlds is so important and lovely. It’s vital to reconnect and communicate and most importantly laugh. And we laugh, all the time. There’s always a lot going on so finding the humor in life keeps you sane.”
She added: “We are truly blessed to have found each other.”
