Did anyone see this coming?
Little more than a year after tying the knot, Justin and Hailey Bieber are expecting their first baby together – or are they?
Taking to Instagram on April 1, which also happens to be April Fool’s Day, the excitable 25-year-old posted a photo of an ultrasound, hinting that he and his 22-year-old wife were expecting.
At first, fans were sceptical, assuming the picture was an April Fool’s Day joke.
“Baby Bieber or April fools?” Wrote one.
“Trust no one today 🙄🙄,” said another.
But boy were they surprised with what came next…

Next, Justin posted a picture of Hailey on a hospital bed during a doctor’s appointment and holding what looks like a rotund baby bump, Justin wrote: “If U thought it was April fools.”
It’s important to note, it looks like Hailey isn’t actually having an ultrasound as there is no ultrasound machine in the frame.
It’s safe to say Beliebers then lost it.
Receiving hundreds of thousands of likes within minutes, fans immediately expressed their feelings.
“What?????????” Wrote one fan.
Another put it simply: “OMG,”
And of course, there were plenty of well wishes of “Congratulations”.

But less than an hour later, Justin then shared a joke ultrasound picture of a puppy, writing: “Wait omg is that a,,, APRIL FOOLS.”
And the general consensus was WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?
So far, model Hailey is yet to officially address speculation she’s pregnancy and there are no posts on her social media channels.

Justin and Hailey were married in November last year, with the singer posting to his Instagram at Thanksgiving to confirm everything: “Happy late thanksgiving to everyone. First thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting thanksgiving. First time both sides of the family has come together.”
Meanwhile, Hailey also made it clear and simple to fans by changing her surname on Instagram to ‘Bieber’.
Ah, the clarity of romance in the social media age.

Since their wedding, the pair have shared a plethora of loved up posts (not least to prove how rock solid they are).
Most recently Hailey shared a lush photo of the pair on a boat looking particularly glam along with the caption: “The Biebers”.
And in March, the model shared two cute couple pics of the pair for Justin’s birthday writing “25 sure looks good on u lover.. 🖤”.
In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Hailey was also staunchly defensive of the pair’s relationship, which has been under plenty of scrutiny given their celebrity status and age.
“I don’t know if it’s because they want to be able to say, ‘I told you so’ or because they want to be right, I don’t really know what the idea is behind trying to tear somebody’s relationship down, or person down, whatever it may be,” she said.
She added: “The problem too is kids become possessive over people.”
Justin has also spoken his mind on the matter in his own way, recently taking to Instagram to respond to a person who had claimed Justin was using Hailey to get back at his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
“The fact that you have an account dedicated to dissing my wife and I is absolutely absurd,” he wrote.
