The duo have been friends for decades!

A mother of 12-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, one might say Julia Roberts is a seasoned professional when it comes to raising bubs born just one minute apart.

Dropping by The Ellen Show recently, Jules revealed that her long-time pal and four-time co-star George Clooney had reached out for advice as he awaits the imminent arrival of twins with wife Amal Clooney.

When asked if she’d passed on any wise words to the Money Monster star, the 49-year-old replied “yes” before breaking out into a fit of giggles.

Any day now!

“It’s going to be so fun. They are a great couple and I think they don’t need advice from me and anybody else.”

Going on she explained: “Also, you know, nobody’s there with you at three o’clock in the morning when you’re going ‘what are we doing? Where did they come from and when are they going?’”

“But you get through it. You figure it out – everybody does. It’s a trial and error and a whole lot of tears,” she concluded.

The countdown is well and truly on as George and Amal are expected to welcome their new family members, a boy and a girl, any day now.

Speaking of becoming a dad, the former bachelor told E! in March it was that the news of twins came as the ultimate blessing.

“I didn’t know that we’d have kids. I was very happy that we were going to get married and then [a pregnancy] seemed like the next step.”

And like any good actor, you can be sure George has done his research and is prepared for the journey ahead.

“I know swaddling, I know what I’m in for,” he said to Extra recently.

What about nappies? “For me, not for the kids.”

The parents-to-be couldn’t be more excited to raise their mini-mes.
