If their bright eyes and big smiles are anything to go by, it’s clear new parents Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant are on cloud nine thanks to the arrival of their first child, Oliver.
Last week, the new parents, who rose to fame on Married At First Sight‘s blockbuster 2019 season, took their adorable son out for a beachside stroll – their first public appearance since his arrival in late September.
In these exclusive photos obtained by Woman’s Day, the loved-up parents looked seriously smitten with their baby boy, with the pair offering him plenty of snuggles on their fun day out.
Oliver was born at Sydney’s Northern Beaches Hospital on September 29, weighing in at 2.85kg and measuring 52cm tall.
The couple, who said “I do” officially last year, love their new life.
“He’s already taller than me,” jokes Cam, 36.
“We’re so in love,” adds Jules, 38. “We’re adapting well to having this little man in our lives and tag-teaming the jobs between us.”
“He’s very calm – all he does is eat, sleep, poo and repeat!”
The pair have also been keeping their fans updated on their latest revelations in the world of parenting.
In a cute, yet all-too-real Instagram post, Jules shared an update about life with a fresh newborn, posting a picture of herself fast asleep with her new baby in her arms 24 hours after giving birth.
Then, in a second snap, Cam is seen taking a selfie with the blissfully snoozing Jules and Oliver.
“Not even 24hrs in and he was it,” Jules quipped, adding: “To be fair… I don’t mind this one haha”.
Cute!
