Jennifer Garner has found new love at last.
She’s an American national treasure, and now it looks like the selfless star may be finally moving on with her life following the finalisation of her divorce to Ben Affleck.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were married from 2005 until 2015, however their divorce was only finalised in early October 2018, because Jen had been “wanting to give Ben the time and opportunity to work on his health and sobriety.”
In fact, it was Jen who recently staged the intervention for her estranged husband, encouraging him to check into rehab.
A source has told US Weekly that the Peppermint actor will “continue to be there” for her ex, who just completed 40 days in rehab, but she “plans to pull back from cleaning up after him all the time”.
Rather, she will be focusing on herself and is ready to “move on” … and with a new man!

The source claimed that Jennifer Garner has “started dating someone new” and is “ready to start the next phase of her life.”
But that new life will still include Affleck and their three children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six.
The pair, although separated have always maintained a health co-parenting strategy when it comes to the children.
“They’re on the same page with giving the kids the best possible life,” says the source. “They want to be the best co-parents they can be.”

Ben has spoken about their life, saying, “Life doesn’t always turn out exactly the way you want and we’re doing our very best and we’re putting our kids first.”
Speaking to Vanity Fair, Jen shared, “It’s not Ben’s job to make me happy. The main thing is these kids—and we’re completely in line with what we hope for them. Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding.”
“But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person.”
It’s clear Jen loves how great Ben is as a father.
On Father’s Day, she shared, “Our kids are lucky to have a dad who looks at them the way you look at them and loves them the way you love them.”

For now, Jen’s new love remains a mystery. However earlier this year reports abounded that she and her Love, Simon co-star, Josh Duhamel had formed a romantic connection on set.
Reports claimed the pair – Jen separated from Ben and Josh separated from Fergie – had built their rumoured romance during breaks from filming.
“That’s the best time for those intimate conversations, the ones you have at the beginning of a relationship to happen,” an inside source told OK!. “Away from home and looking for companionship, it’s easy to see what happened.”

As for Ben, the hard-partying actor moved quickly into a serious relationship with Lindsay Shookus after his split from Jen— and most recently became involved in a fling with Playboy model Shauna Sexton.
He is currently single and is working on his sobriety.
