It’s not long until Jasmine Stefanovic (nee Yarbrough) welcomes her first child with husband Karl Stefanovic – in fact, she’s on the home stretch of her pregnancy.
The 36-year-old shoe designer shared a stunning new photo of herself via her Instagram stories and revealed that her due date is just around the corner.
Dressed in a loose-fitting black dress, a pregnant Jasmine stands against a curtained back drop whilst cradling her baby bump.
The mum-to-be glowed as she stared at the camera with a slight smile and added the caption, “Countdown is on!!” alongside the pregnant woman emoji.
Jasmine, who is due in May, also shared an insight into her life with a meme, detailing some of her favourite things and current activities that she’s doing whilst in lockdown.
But perhaps the sweetest bit was her response to “I’m currently daydreaming about”, where she answered, “Meeting my new baby girl.”
Jasmine’s pregnancy has been affected by the coronavirus restrictions in a multitude of ways.
In a chat with Brisbane radio trio Stav, Abby and Matt, dad-to-be Karl, 45, revealed that if he shows any symptoms he won’t be permitted in the birthing room and that his mum, Jasmine’s parents and her 94-year-old grandmother were originally going to fly down from Queensland for the birth, but this is no longer possible.
“All the normal things that you would do that would be a great celebration in a family’s life have been curtailed a bit, but I guess you’ve just got to go through it and have a big party at the end of it,” he said.

Jasmine and Karl’s baby girl is their first child together, but Karl already has three children from his first marriage to Cassandra Thorburn – Jackson, 20, Ava, 14 and River, 12.
“I like to think I’ve been a pretty good dad along the way,” he told Daily Mail Australia this month.
“I think every dad would have a level of insecurity about how good they’ve been, but at the end of the day my kids are loved.”
Dad-to-be Karl added: “We [he and Jasmine] do have a very loving relationship and to have a baby as an expression of that love is incredible. It’s never an easy thing and I think that kids are a miracle and we just can’t wait to meet this little girl. Just to shower her with all the love that we have.”
