Australia’s most brooding horticulturalist has become a father for the second time!
The Backyard Takeover and former House Rules star Jamie Durie, 50, has welcomed his first child with his fiancé, Ameka Jane, 34.
The ecstatic parents have a healthy baby girl, named Beau Durie.
Jamie and Ameka took to Instagram to share the news of their healthy baby’s arrival.

New dad Jamie penned the sweet message, “My heart is overflowing ❤️we are thrilled to introduce you to our beautiful baby girl ……….Beau Durie.
“Words can’t describe how proud I am of my girls.. Thank-you my beautiful Ameka for bringing so much joy into our lives. ❤️🥰”
This is the TV personality’s second child as he is also the father to his adult daughter called Taylor, who lives in Los Angeles.
There is no doubt Jamie is excited about this new life chapter with Ameka – this is his third engagement and it seems the two are more than smitten.
The couple announced their engagement on their Instagram in February this year with a series of loved-up pictures.
Jamie wrote a sweet message bestowing Ameka with his unconditional love as he gushed over their new engagement.

Ameka also wrote a lovely announcement on her own Instagram, and she detailed how happy she is about taking this next step with Jamie.
“That’s a BIG YES! ❤️ My beautiful man @jamiedurie my heart is full,” she penned. “Thank you for coming in to my life and loving me just as I am. ✨ Let’s do this.”
Jamie and Ameka are said to have met in Los Angeles, which is where the landscaper spends half of his year.
It seems starting a family with Ameka has been on the cards for a while because in 2019, Jamie revealed to the media that he was with a new partner he would love to settle down with.
“I’m looking forward to having some more babies.”
“Of course I will,” he said.
“I’ve been married to my career for a while. I’m looking forward to having some more babies. At least two.”
Amaka, who is a model, singer and lifestyle blogger, makes gushy posts for her man on Instagram and in one particular caption, it’s clear the LA-based creative is very smitten with Jamie.
