When Jake Ryan left the shores of Home and Away‘s Summer Bay earlier this year, we were heartbroken.
So fond had we grown of the 36-year-old Aussie actor gracing our television screens each night, that the thought of him leaving left a void only comparable to Steve Peacock’s departure a few years earlier.
But lucky for us, something big was happening for Jake off-camera as he filmed his final Home and Away scenes, and it’s provided us a plethora of joyful content to lap up instead.
We are, of course, talking about Jake’s newborn son, Wolf, who has filled our news feeds with pure heaven as the proud new dad shares regular updates on the cute new bub.
Mum Alice Quiddington is just as excited about her son, taking to Instagram shortly after he was born to announce: “One of the most intense but incredible experiences of my life. So much new found respect for this body and what it has done and continues to do. @jakey__ryan is already super dad status and was the most amazing support to me throughout the whole pregnancy and birth, I couldn’t have done it without him ❤️”.
She continued: “We’re just taking some time to rest and enjoy our little love bubble and new family member. Can’t wait for Wolf to meet all his favourite uncles & aunties soon.”
Jake, who is clearly quite close to his Home and Away co-stars, hasn’t wasted any time since in sharing some candid snaps of (and with!) Wolf – much to the delight of the actors and actresses who no doubt dote over him, too.
But we figured it was time we all joined in the newborn’s heavenly spectacle.

Proud to the end, Jake posted a sweet snap of his son and Alice on International Women’s Day on March 8, alongside the caption: “Big props to this special woman and all the woman in my world. We couldn’t do a thing without you all ♥️🙏🏻”

At Christmas, the Home and Away star and partner Alice stuck to tradition by getting an iconic pic with Westfield’s Santa. We personally reckon it’s an achievement that Wolf didn’t cry at all – our hearts!
