When Australia learned that Jaimi Lee Curry Kenny, the daughter of Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny has tragically passed away aged 33, everyone was lost for words.
A woman who had so clearly brought so much life and love to those around her, in particular her well-known family, Jaimi’s life was filled with colour and character.
In a heartbreaking statement, Grant confirmed the news about his daughter on September 14.
“It is with a very heavy heart that Lisa and I confirm that our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long-term illness and passed away peacefully in hospital this morning in the company of loving family,” Grant said in a statement.
He added: “Jaimi will forever be remembered as a caring, bright and loving soul who always put others before herself.”
His words were met with shock and deep sadness – not least because of how very true they were.
And they are so well reflected in the many photos we’ve seen of Jaimi as she’s grown up before us.

Following her tragic passing, Jett wrote a heartbreaking tribute for his sister alongside this gorgeous candid picture: “I may not have been the best brother to you all the time, I know you thought you weren’t being the big sister I needed all the time, but I do know we loved one another unconditionally all the time,” he penned.
Jett continued: “I will love you forever. Rest In Peace my beautiful big sister, the world lost one of its treasures yesterday but heaven gained one. You will be dearly missed by all whose lives you touched.”

Lisa shared a beautiful tribute for her daughter in the hours following the announcement she had passed away. “Jaimi will forever be remembered as a caring, bright and loving soul who always put others before herself. Her love of flowers, cooking, art, decorating, photography, babies, the beach, and helping others will always be remembered,” she wrote.

Lisa’s husband Mark also shared a tribute for Jaimi, writing: “As your mother & father weep your loss, I too feel lost and heavy hearted. Nobody should ever lose their child. You always put everybody else first. You were gifted with many talents, amazing cook, arts and crafts , writing, and your love and creativity with flowers.”
