Most mothers have a magical life story, tucked quietly away in a time Before Motherhood (BM). It’s an exciting moment for every child to learn more about their parent’s past.

But not all of us can say our mum was an international pop star, let a lone a member of one the most iconic girl groups of all times.

Victoria, once (and for some of us forever) known as Posh Spice, posted to Instagram today the exact moment she revealed to her daughter, Harper, that she was once a member of the Spice Girls.

Victoria started her Instagram story by posting a picture of some very familiar faces with the caption, “Harper loves her Spice Girl toys”.

Harper is the fourth charming member of the genetically blessed Beckham clan, and Victoria and husband David’s only daughter.

We can only speculate that the boys finding out about their mum’s famous past would have been slightly less noteworthy than this image of 6-year-old Harper spellbound in front of the Spice Girl dolls.

The family raised eyebrows recently when they posted snaps online of Harper’s sixth birthday celebrations taking place at the Royal Palace in London.

The birthday girl was fortunate enough to celebrate her sixth birthday with a princess party at Buckingham Palace — yes, the Queen’s official residence.

Of course, the youngest of the Beckham Brigade chose to dress the part opting for a Queen Elsa of Arendelle costume.

But it wasn’t long before fans (and trolls) began to question how the famous family snagged the exclusive invitation, with many postulating the palace may have been hired as a party venue.

“Is this a new commercial venture by the Royal family or do all little princesses now get an invite?” one commenter wrote.

Another penned: “If you have enough money you can anything!!”

The retired footballer was quick to address the backlash, revealing that the family had been invited to the iconic location for a special tea party.

Both of these examples just go to show you exactly exceptional Harper’s life is.

Back to our mundane existences, everyone.
