TV WEEK Gold Logie nominee Grant Denyer has revealed he had to rush his daughter Sailor Denyer to hospital after a scary accident.
The beloved TV host shared the news via his Instagram page on Tuesday, explaining his seven-year-old daughter with wife Chezzi Denyer had a suspected concussion while trying to perform a “cartwheel into a backflip.”
Uploading an emergency room selfie with his oldest daughter, Grant said: “Uh oh. Hospital Emergency room. Someone did their first cartwheel into a backflip. Unsuccessfully. Suspected concussion.”
Concerned mum Chezzi also posted a pic by Sailor’s hospital bedside, which read: “Back to emergency room with my little gymnast. Mild concussion.”
The former Family Feud star’s post was quickly flooded with messages of concern.
“Crazy like Daddy??..mmmm….Hope you are ok Precious x,” one fan wrote, referencing Grant’s adventurous streak as a motor racing driver.
“Poor darling. Better luck next time with the pesky cartwheeling,” another added.
“You’re not a parent until you’ve taken your kid to the emergency room with a concussion,” a third related.

Indeed, it was just last year that Grant had his own scare after a horror rally car crash landed him in hospital.
The father-of-two and his fellow co-driver Dale Moscatt were airlifted to hospital and the 40-year-old ended up with several broken bones and a fractured sacrum and finger.
It’s been a whirlwind few months for Grant after he had to bid farewell to Family Feud – the show which he says “saved” his career.
But every cloud has a silver lining and the Gold Logie nominee has landed a new hosting gig with Ten as host the Australian version of Game Of Games, a unique entertainment show created and hosted by Ellen DeGeneres in the US.
Grant had his own hospital scare in March last year following a rally car crash.
“I’m hungry and excited about this new project,” Grant told TV WEEK.
“Something new and bright comes along in moments when doors close,” he added.
And on July 1st, Grant will battle it out for the ultimate accolade in television – the Gold Logie.
But at the end of the day, his two gorgeous daughters Sailor and Scout, six, will always be his main priority.
“Both girls are funny, compassionate and thoughtful, so we’re on the right track. Whether they end up in jail as an adult is yet to be seen,” Grant has said.

What is concussion and how do you spot it in children?
Concussion is a brain injury which is caused by a blow or jolt to the head, such as falling on the head or colliding with another person during a sports game.
Look out for slurred speech, a headache, dizziness, vomiting and tiredness in your little one. They may also act confused or dazed.
Signs and symptoms might not present themselves instantly, and instead show up a few hours later so keep a close eye on your child and go straight to the emergency room if you have any concern they might be concussed.
