In an interview with People the reality star has expressed her desire to have more children, even though the couple aren’t actively trying.
“We would love to have another child, it’s always a conversation we have and it’s something we definitely would love to do. If God blesses us with a child, it’d be incredible,” she revealed.
Bill and Giuliana have three-year-old son Edward Duke who was born via a surrogate in 2012.
After suffering a miscarriage herself some years ago the E! presenter received the devastating news in 2014 that their surrogate – who was carrying their second child – miscarried.
Though the pair, who have been married since 2007, have suffered through more pregnancy struggles than most – Bill and Giuliana are still very much keeping the dream alive.
“We were so lucky to have Duke and he keeps us really busy. He’s great and thriving and an amazing little boy, but we would love to expand our family. We always wanted to and that dream is definitely still alive,” she told the mag.
“I always want to make sure I’m super present with Duke — he’s always my priority because he’s my son and we fought really hard for him, obviously.”
Not only has Giuliana fought desperately with fertility, she has also courageously battled breast cancer.
In 2011 she publicly began a fight with the disease and thankfully won. Ever since, she has campaigned for the cause, raising awareness about early prevention.
“If you find breast cancer early, you have over a 90 percent chance survival rate, which is incredible, but the key is you have to find it early,” she explained to People.
“We can’t stress enough — everyone can’t stress enough — you have to do the monthly self-exams when you’re in the shower.”
