The much-loved duo are yet to release any pictures or further information as to the height and weight of their new bundles of joy, but they have spilled on their all-important monikers.

Introducing Ella and Alexander Clooney!
The new parents-of-two chose to share their happy news in a quick-witted statement to People, which also revealed that new-mum Amal is “happy and doing fine”.
“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days,” the statement read.
Following the joyous announcement, celebrities and fans of the pair have taken to Twitter to share their sweet (and sometimes side-splittingly hilarious) well wishes.
Not only that, but George and Amal’s pal Rande Gerber (husband to Cindy Crawford and George’s business partner) took to Instagram to share a lovely (albeit boozy) gift for the new parents.
In a video posted on the tequila business, Casamigos, brand page, Rande can be seen pushing a trolly stacked with Huggies and nappies and, of course, plenty of the friends’ tequila.
(Nothing like a humble brand spruik, right, Rande?)
Celebrity tweets and gifts aside, nothing can steal the limelight from the happy couple’s wonderful baby news.
And, if George’s recent views on fatherhood and the importance of supportive friends are anything to go by, their twins’ arrival is only the beginning of a wonderfully life-changing paternal path set before him.
No doubt the couple are over the moon with their newest arrivals.
We can’t wait to catch a glimpse of their no-doubt stunning bundles of joy.
While the couple have been relatively tight-lipped about the whole thing, George did share some thoughts on impending fatherhood during an interview on the French program Rencontres de Cinema.
“We are really happy and really excited. It’s going to be an adventure,” he said smiling broadly.
“We’ve sort of embraced it all…with arms wide open.”
He also explained how his “very supportive friends,” many of whom are already parents to children in their teens, reacted to the first-time dad’s exciting news.
“It got really quiet, and they all just started making baby crying noises,” he recalled. “And the whole table just busted up laughing.”
Early this year, baby whispers gained momentum when Amal was seen to swap form-fitting ensembles for looser fitting garments.
News of the couple’s pregnancy broke in early February thanks to Julie Chen, who confirmed on The Talk that George and Amal were set to expand their family.
The former resident Hollywood Bachelor also chatted to E! about his incredible new chapter.
“I didn’t know that we’d have kids. I was very happy that we were going to get married and then [a pregnancy] seemed like the next step.”
And he’s already got “swaddling” down pat!

While this will be the pair’s first stint at parenthood, George certainly is receiving a lot of parenting advice from his A-Lister friends.
Julia Roberts, mum of 12-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, recently shared with Ellen the words of wisdom she imparted to her dear friend.
“It’s going to be so fun. They are a great couple and I think they don’t need advice from me and anybody else,” she told the comedian, with her trademark smile.
The duo have been friends for decades!
Going on she explained: “Also, you know, nobody’s there with you at three o’clock in the morning when you’re going ‘what are we doing? Where did they come from and when are they going?’”
Before quipping, “But you get through it. You figure it out – everybody does. It’s a trial and error and a whole lot of tears.”
