In a video posted to Ellen DeGeneres’sFacebook page, Four-year-old McKenna sings Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” to her mum, 23-year-old Dianna Stanchak, who reportedly has Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The clip, which has been online since Monday, has amassed over 20 million views, and has inspired tens of thousands of well wishes from commenters.
One woman, who says she is Stanchak’s mother, took to Facebook to thank everyone for their outpouring of support.
In the clip, McKenna sings, “When you feel lost and scared to death, like you can’t take one more step, just take my hand, together we can do it.”
“I’m gonna love you through it.”
