The notoriously private actor happily chatted to hosts, Carrie Bickmore, Peter Helliar, Waleed Aly and Fifi Box about his life with wife Blake Lively and daughter James.
The 39-year-old spoke about how he liked to keep his public life separate from his private.
“I think it’s always a fine line,” he admitted during his appearance via satellite.
“I think it’s keeping a boundary that there’s this world that is the job and the world that is the home.”
Adding, “We don’t live in L.A. We live on a farm in New York, and we don’t lead a wild and crazy life. It’s not that hard. It’s not a big deal.”
In fact, Ryan credits his lifestyle choice from keeping him out of the public eye.
“I’ve never been the guy stumbling out of bars at three in the morning, at least that anyone is aware of,” he laughed, “It’s never been my thing.”
The actor is currently on the promotional tour for his highly anticipated new Marvel film, Deadpool.
Peter questioned the new dad about which of his films he’d allow his baby girl to watch.
Charming the entire panel (and us) Ryan joked, ” Well, that’s a good question. There are some she shouldn’t see because they are awful.Let’s call a spade a spade.”
“Luckily I have a couple of children’s movies under my belt. The Croods is one she would enjoy and maybe Turbo. She could see those.”
During Ryan’s time on The Project, he gave fans an exclusive first look at the official poster for his new Marvel film, cheekily captioned, “Bad ass. Smart ass. Great ass.”
Deadpool is set to hit our shores in February 2016.
