A total of 50 mums and their children have taken to their cars to lip sync and sign to the song A Thousand Years – and it’s the cutest carpool video yet.
The YouTube clip has been made by mums from a UK Facebook Group called Designer Genes, set up for parents who have a child with Down syndrome who was born in 2013-14. And it’s to commemorate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21.
These pint-sized stars and their mums and siblings are melting hearts across the world as they sing along to the Christina Perri ballad, about how they “wouldn’t change a thing”.
The YouTubve video alone has been viewed almost 800,000 times. And the video posted on Facebook by the dad who pulled the video together, James McCallum, has been viewed more than 2.7 million times and shared almost 60,000 times.

TV presenter James Corden, who has become famous for this Carpool Karaoke with celebrities, revealed that it moved him to tears.
The video was originally inspired by Singing Hands – a UK organisation whose videos have helped many in the group learn Makaton, a language program designed to provide a means of communication to individuals who cannot communicate efficiently by speaking alone.
As one FB commenter summed up perfectly: “With all the rubbish going on in the world this is so beautiful and inspiring brought a tear to my eyes xxx “
