When Elsa Veria-Means found out her best friend was pregnant, of course they decided to do a photo shoot – nothing less than the best for your BFF.
The thing is, Elsa’s best friend is her dog, Fusee, who at 8 weeks pregnant with her first litter of pups.
The pair has managed to create a photoset better than anything most humans would be capable of.
From your late 20s onward, your social media news feed becomes loaded with baby and wedding pics from your friends and family.
After a while, they all start to look the same: another happy smiling couple announcing the impending arrival of a little boy or a girl.
But Elsa and Fusee, Elsa’s pug-mix, have gone the extra mile to celebrate the momentous occasion.
The event was captured by Elsa’s photographer friend Clayton Foshaug and had the two cuddling in a field of flowers while Elsa holds the sign, “Soon 2 Be Mom.”
Elsa tweeted the photo series out with the caption, “My bestfriend is 8 weeks pregnant so we decided to do a maternity photo shoot”
Since Elsa first posted the set of four images, the tweet has been shared over 60K times. A true celebration of life in its most pure form.
We are pleased to report that Fusee gave birth to 8 happy, healthy puppies yesterday.
