A video circulating Facebook with the caption ‘Leave the baby alone with dad for five minutes’ has left people shocked with its carelessness.
In it, a little toddler is sitting in a Bumbo, being pulled by a remote-controlled toy truck underneath a car and very close to the street. While the little tot is clearly unfazed by the whole thing, he’s not wearing a helmet, or as it appears, a harness.
It’s enough to make us nervous for the child just watching it.
The parents of the tyke can be heard giggling in the background, clearly not realising the potential for disaster.
This comes after a six-month-old baby boy drowned when he was put in Bumbo seat under a running shower to cool him down. The seat didn’t have a safety harness, so he fell off the seat, which then moved and blocked the drain.
