Dean lives in Sydney so much of his communication with his parents who live in Stirling, Scotland takes place over Skype video chats.
“I do a bit of photography as a hobby and I normally show my parents some pictures I’ve recently taken,” Dean told Mother & Baby.
This meant that in their recent conversation his parents were compeletely surprised when instead of Dean showing his parents a picture of his latest photography project, he revealed three ultrasound pictures from his baby’s 12-week ultrasound scan.
His parents’ reaction to their son’s baby news and learning that they are to become grandparents is truly priceless and their surprise and excitement is contagious to watch.
“Have you got your glasses on, I’ve got a new picture for you.” Dean tells his mum in the video.
“Oh my God, oh my God! Is that a baby?” his mum exitedly responds before adding, “whose is it?!”
“It’s safe to say my mum and dad were over the moon at being told they’d be grandparents for the first time,” Dean told Mother & Baby and we absolutely understand why.
