Chad Michael Murray, who is perhaps most well known for his role in the television series One Tree Hill, has just welcomed his second child – a girl – with wife Sarah Roemer.
Confirming the exciting news on Instragram, the 35-year-old shared a stunning closeup of his precious new arrival gripping his finger. But it’s caption he’s penned alongside it that really has our hearts melting…
“Don’t worry little girl you can hold on as tight as you want for as long as you want, I’m already yours & I’ll never let go😚👶😌👨👩👧👦 I’ve now two incredible women in my life. My son & I are two lucky guys. @rooeemer 😎❤️,” the actor wrote.
In keeping with the couple’s track record, there’s no official word yet on the baby’s name.
The new baby joins a 21-month-old big brother, whose name has never been publicly revealed. Other details, including the newborn’s exact birth date, weight and measurements, are also being kept under-wraps.
Back in 2015, when the former teen heartthrob and his wife, Disturbia actress Sarah Roemer, 32, welcomed their first child, a beaming Chad took to Twitter to share the wonderful news with his followers.
“We’ve been blessed with a son. Gods greatest gift.”
“Sarah & I couldn’t b happier & intend 2 spend many a day having family adventures & watching football! & also @Chargers now,” the A Cinderella Story actor added.
Speaking with E! News shortly before the birth of his first child, Chad explained that he would strive to provide his little one with an active and joyous upbringing.
“I’m a respect first kind of guy, so I think certain things that I want my son to have is just respect and just to be a kind human being,” Chad said.
“I’m a big sports guy, an outdoorsy guy, so I’ll be having him fishing at 5, 6…to take him kayaking and hiking. I just keep thinking in my head, just trying to create 6-foot-5 quarterback,” he added.
Following his divorce from his One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush in 2006, the all-American hunk went on to find love with actress and model Sarah, who he married in January, 2015.
