As they prepare to welcome their first twins, Married At First Sight‘s Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson have been documenting their pregnancy journey for their followers.
On Sunday night, the pair shared a video of their first 5D scan with their baby boys.
In a video created by Bryce himself, and shared to Liss’ Instagram account, the MAFS couple embarked on a trip to the hospital to see their twins in 4 and 5D.
Watch MAFS’ Bryce & Melissa go for a 4D/5D baby scan below.
As they drove in the car on the way to the scan, Bryce told the camera that it’s his “first time” meeting the twins “without seeing them through Liss’ camera phone”.
Melissa then added: “Hopefully we will be able to see them because we have left it pretty late. They’re 28 weeks right now so hopefully we can at least see their chubby little cheeks.”
As they sat in the waiting room of the hospital, Bryce posed a “serious question” to his fiancée, saying: “Out of the twins, who’s going to get dad’s beak?”
Fans of the couple were then greeted with a montage of the scan, where you can make out the little faces of the babies.
Once leaving the hospital, an emotional Melissa wiped her tears as both parents fawned over how cute their little boys are.
“We can’t wait,” Bryce told the camera. “And the good news is, they’ve got Liss’ nose.”
The video ended with an announcement that the babies are due in December of this year.
Over the weekend, Melissa shared an update of her 28-week baby bump on her Instagram taken during a beach trip.
She captioned the two images, “✨28 weeks✨.”
Bryce sweetly commented, “Gorgeous 😍.”
The couple who met on season eight of MAFS in controversial circumstances, first revealed they were expecting twins exclusively to New Idea in July this year, while at the same time also divulging the news that they are headed for the aisle.
“It’s all happened very fast,” Bryce told us at the time.
“It’s been a whirlwind, but we’re so incredibly happy,” added Mel, who pointed out their twins will be a world first for the TV franchise.
In August, the couple revealed they had already shortlisted a bunch of “unique” names for their babies.
“I guess that’s kind of a real testament to our relationship,” Bryce said.
