Former NRL star Braith Anasta is set to tie the knot for the second time, this time to his partner of three years, Bondi personal trainer Rachael Lee.

The couple announced the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday night, alongside an adorable video revealing the very moment Braith got down on one knee and popped the question, all with some help from the couple’s modern blended family.

Braith’s eldest daughter Aleeia, who he shares with ex-wife Jodi Gordon, along with his and Rachael’s child Gigi, as well as Rachael’s son Addison from a previous relationship, each wore white T-shirts with the question “Will you marry me?” spelled out, and helped Braith surprise Rachael on a stunning waterfront balcony, which appears to be part of the couple’s gorgeous Sydney eastern suburbs home.

In a video uploaded to Instagram, which you can watch in the player above, Braith drops down to one knee as an ecstatic and surprised Rachael hugs her man.

Braith gave Rachael a stunning ring from Melbourne jewellery brand Shannakian Fine Jewellery. The rock appears to be an oval rock diamond with a thin gold band.

Rachael and Braith were first linked in August 2016 and went public with their relationship on Instagram that Christmas, with Braith posting a cute happy snap of Rachael perched on his lap.

However, the couple tried to keep their relationship on the downlow for months, with Braith telling KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O that Rachael was just a “friend”.

The stunning personal trainer has around 7000 Instagram followers and regularly keeps her fans updated with cute photos of her modern blended family, as well as adorable couple snaps with her and Braith.

It’s clear the couple happily co-parent their three collective children together with Braith’s ex-wife Jodi.

Jodie and Braith were married in 2012 and split in 2015 after three years of marriage.

Braith has previously opened up about the modern way he and ex-wife Jodi co-parent their daughter Aleeia.

Jodi, who currently stars on Neighbours, which is filmed in Melbourne, is based out of the Victorian capital for most of the time and flies back and forth to Sydney, where Braith and Rachael are based.

“She’s in Melbourne for majority of the week so she comes back and it’s been like that for a long time, it’s pretty stock standard. We have Aleeia Monday to Friday and she goes to school and Jodi comes back and has her on the weekend. We’ve got that balance. It’s pretty standard, we just make sure that Aleeia’s got routine and has as good an upbringing as we possibly can,” he told Now To Love in July.

“We’ve got a good relationship and everything is really fine there. We’ve got a really good balance and everything’s fine.”

Braith says his and Rachael’s “top priority” is looking after their kids and live life quite separately from Jodi.

“I’ve kind of separated myself from outside influences and we’re very private, Rachel and myself,” Braith said.

“We like it that way. To be honest with you, Jodi’s life is her life and her personal life is her business and we try and stay away from that and we just make sure everyone is looked after.

“Our priority is the kids and making sure they’re fine and that their life is as normal as possible and that they’re happy. That’s pretty much it for us.”
