Indeed the stunning actress, who has had a whirlwind decade in the limelight following her stint in Summer Bay, welcomed two gorgeous twin girls two years ago.

And while she definitely likes to keep her private life under wraps, certain times call for certain allowances – and one recent occurrence posed the perfect opportunity to show a rare insight into her life behind the camera.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the blonde 31-year-old shared a beautiful post to celebrate the second birthday of her daughters Myrtle Mae and Emerald Lois.

Posting two images, one featuring herself and partner Nathan Gooley, and a second featuring her beautiful matching blonde-haired twins, Bonnie wrote: “Our fairies turned 2 last week.”

In the second image, Myrtle and Emerald are seen wearing matching blue outfits surrounded by family and friends.

There’s also no denying their mop of blonde hair is very similar to that of Bonnie’s iconic tresses.

The actress herself also looked happier than ever in the first image, where she is seen with her arms wrapped tightly around her partner.

The former Home and Away star has spoken about her partner Nathan in the past, revealing that he was a pillar of support as she navigated the Australian entertainment industry.

Speaking to TV WEEK in 2017, Bonnie said she credits him for helping her find her feet and feel secure during her whirlwind career.

“I think there was someone who was sharing it with me, who was able to, not necessarily protect me, as though I needed it or that’s what he was doing, but you do definitely share it,” she told us at the time.

In July this year, she again opened up to TV WEEK, telling us that while she “adores” being a mum to her girls, it hasn’t been easy.

“Having a baby is a huge transition for most women,” she admitted.

“I’m going to be really frank. The first year was so hard; it was just something you can’t prepare for. Energy-wise and physically, having two was a huge, huge thing for me.”

Again, she owed her sanity as a parent to partner Nathan, who has been by her side to muddle through the twists and turns.

“When the girls turned one, I started to actually feel like myself again,” Bonnie revealed.

“I got little moments of freedom and trusted myself more as a parent.”
