Five styles are affected.
Bonds recalls thousands rompers wondersuits

Bad news for Bonds-loving bubs in Victoria and Queensland; 2292 rompers and wondersuits bought in these states are being recalled after it was discovered they don’t feature the mandatory Australian hazard labelling.

Affected items include the Bonds Bodysuit, Stretchies, Signature, Zip Romper and Zip Wondersuit which were sold at DFO Essendon, DFO South Wharf and Harbour Town Regional Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast between August 19 and September 10.

Parents are urged to return these garments to Bonds for a full refund.

Bonds spokeswoman Sue Cato said the products were not intended to be sold in the Australian market so did not carry the correct Australian labelling, which includes the fire danger rating.

“All of the affected Bonds Baby Coveralls are otherwise 100 per cent compliant with Australian regulations for low fire danger products and are identical to the products sold in Australia,” she told the Herald Sun.

To find out more call 1800 806 906 or email Bonds at [email protected].
