Billy Joel, 68, has become a father for the third time after his wife Alexis Roderick, 36, welcomed a healthy baby girl.
The couple announced that little Remy Anne came into the world on Sunday, October 22, at 7:50 p.m. weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces [3.2kgs].
The pair’s second child together was born at New York University Hospital.
Billy’s first daughter to Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel, is said to have been in the delivery room with her dad and stepmum.
Billy Joel’s rep shared with People, “Alexis and Remy are doing well, and everyone is thrilled.”
According to the news-outlet, Billy and his eldest daughter with Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel, was in the delivery room with Alexis as she gave birth.
The 68-year-old confirmed he was entering the world of fatherhood for a third time just last week.
He told a reporter from the Belfast Telegraph, “We are due next month.”
The musician and his fourth wife Alexis, who is an accomplished equestrian, now share two girls.
Billy and Alexis dated for five years before tying the knot in 2015, and one month later they welcomed their firstborn daughter Della Rose, now two.
Speaking of his little one, the music legend shared, “This one is pretty good. She sleeps through the night.”
“I hope the next one will.”
Billy is also dad to 31-year-old daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, who he had with his second wife, Christie Brinkley.
