The inaugural Australian Mother & Baby Magazine Awards are a celebration of motherhood, beautiful bubs and the essential products helping us along the way.
This year’s ceremony showcased all the best baby and toddler-related products on the market. From nappies to food, prams and teething toys, a specialist panel and team of mothers – and their bubs – judged the best innovations across 27 categories.
Mother & Baby magazine is making it easier for new mothers to shop for their babies, presenting all of the winners with a Mother & Baby Magazine Award rosette. Mothers can now shop with confidence as they will have the option of selecting products which display a rosette, as an added guarantee.
Fiona Wright, Editor-In-Chief of Mother & Baby Magazine announced: “We are thrilled to launch the 2012 Australian Mother & Baby Magazine Awards sponsored by Coles Baby & Toddler Club. Over the past six months we’ve thoroughly tested every product, making sure it does its job, and does it well. A Mother & Baby Magazine Award rosette will give the winning products the ‘seal of approval’.”
The awards also crowned one special woman – Mum of the Year. Inspirational Michelle Gatt, mother of Leila, took home the honour for 2012.

Having suffered the loss of two children due to Pontocerebellar atrophy, numerous miscarriages and failed IVF attempts, Michelle has raised $60,000 for the Sydney Children’s Hospital and Telstra Child Flight.
