If you’ve been having a bad day, week, month or year, allow us to cheer you up with the perfect sadness cure-all – Ben Fordham and Jodie Speers’ gorgeous kids.
The 2GB and Channel Nine star, along with his wife Jodie, who is a Channel Seven news presenter, have three beautiful children together – son Freddie, five, and daughters Pearl, three, and Marigold, six months.
The couple first met after Ben found himself bowled over by Jodie’s police reporting, back when she used to work in radio.
“I remember thinking to myself, ‘She’s really good, this Jodie Speers,'” Ben told Channel Nine in 2017.
“So much so that I called my mate … who was the boss of the radio station, and I went, ‘Mate, that Jodie Speers is bloody amazing’,” he said.

“He was like, ‘Righto, why do you say that?’ And I was like, ‘Well, I reckon that she’s the best reporter going around at the moment — and she’s got a killer voice.’
“He went, ‘Oh, you like her voice do you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah I do.’ And he said, ‘Have you seen her?’ And I said ‘No.’ And he said, ‘Wait ’til you see her.’ And I said, ‘What is that supposed to mean?’ And he said, ‘Oh well, just wait ’til you see her.'”
Six months later, he spotted a beautiful woman at a party.
“I turned to someone and said, ‘Who’s that?'” he said.
“‘That’s Jodie Speers,’ they said. And I went, ‘Oh. That’s Jodie Speers.'”
Ben asked her out on a date and the rest, as they say, is history.
Now, Ben affectionately refers to himself as the Vice President of the Blokes Punching Above Their Weight Club!
