Johnny Seibold died of pancreatic cancer in May, leaving wife Sandy and daughter Saige devastated.

To ease their grief, the pair penned a handwritten note to Johnny, and attached it to a bunch of balloons they released at his gravesite.

After watching the balloons rise into the sky until they couldn’t see them anymore, the pair returned to their Oklahoma home 40km away.

Still upset by their emotional grave visit, Saige went down to their back paddock, where she used to spend time with her father, and was stunned to discover the balloons and note waiting for her there.

“What are the chances?” Sandy said. “I think I started crying. It felt like a message from him.

“This has given us a lot of peace and good feelings about where he’s at,” Sandy said.
