When we learned that another Bachie baby was on the way, we were delighted. But no reaction could top that of Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards’ families.
The couple, who found love on the first season of The Bachelor Australia, have shared two heartwarming videos of them surprising their respective parents with news of Anna’s pregnancy and were able to capture their genuine reactions on camera.

Anna and Tim filmed their families’ reactions to their pregnancy news for all to see.
(Image: Instagram @annaheinrich1)In Anna’s video, the blonde beauty prepares to take a selfie with her parents Judith and Leslie and as the trio smile at the camera Anna says: “On the count of three say ‘Anna’s pregnant!”’
As comprehension dawns on their faces, the grandparents-to-be are visibly shocked but delighted.
“I’ve been meaning to tell you for so bloody long!” Anna says as she hugs her parents before joking: “Don’t look at me, I don’t have a stomach.”
“The moment I told my parents I was pregnant #priceless,” Anna captioned the video on her Instagram account.
Though this is the couple’s first child, Anna’s parents are already grandparents of one – Anna’s sister Andrea and her husband welcomed a son Oliver in December 2019.

When they told the camera, it took a moment for Tim’s mum Tanya to register the information but once she did the grandma-to-be exclaimed in shock “You are?” before wrapping Anna in a tight hug.

As the family embrace each other, Anna can also be heard saying: “One go!” revealing that it didn’t take long for the couple to succeed in conceiving.
“‘On the count of three say… ‘Anna’s pregnant!!’ How cute are the oldies reactions! Such happy times!! *filmed pre lockdown… breath people! @annaheinrich1 Baby Mumma!” Tim wrote in his caption.
In the comments, Tim also revealed that their baby is due around November.

Tim and Anna confirmed the news over the weekend, sharing a collage of photos featuring Anna’s emerging baby bump and their ultrasound scan.
“We’ve been keeping busy in lockdown. I can’t wait to be a Dad!!! The giddy feelings in my stomach show there must be a few nerves, but I know Anna’s going to be an absolutely amazing mother and I couldn’t be more excited to start a family with her! #BabyRobards #2020 @annaheinrich1,” Tim captioned his post.
Anna shared a similar sentiment writing: “It’s been so hard to keep this a secret, over the past few months, but I can now finally shout… I’M PREGNANT!!! With everything that’s going on in the world we feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be starting a family together, and we’re so looking forward to this next chapter in our lives. #BabyRobardsComingSoon @mrtimrobards.”
