It’s official, Beyonce and Jay Z are expecting twins. And in true Queen Bey style, the singer revealed her double joy with the most epic of pregnancy announcements.
On February 1st, the 35-year-old broke the internet with an incredible photo of her growing bump. Dressed in a maroon bra, frilly blue briefs and a veil as she cradles her belly under a floral archway, the Formation hitmaker looks to be the picture of maternal bliss.
“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters,” their statement read.
Eagle-eyed fans have been quick to point out the star could in fact be expecting a boy and a girl, as singled by the colour of her lingerie.
The doting duo are already the proud parents to five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter and have always wished to make her a big sister.
“I would like more children… I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister [to Solange],” Bey has previously mused.

Like we said, the Carters are pretty much the prom king and queen of Halloween and we can’t wait to see how the twins will star in years to come.
