Ask any parent, and one of the hardest concepts to get your head around is just how quickly your little one grows up.
One minute they’re a tiny bundle at the hospital, the next they’re blowing out the candles on their 18th birthday cake.
And it’s a struggle actress Ada Nicodemou knows all too well, with the Home And Away favourite admitting her seven-year-old son Johnas is growing up before her eyes.
On Wednesday evening, the 43-year-old posted two adorable and never-before-seen throwback photos of her son when he was just a toddler.
“He’s growing up too fast 😭 ❤️❤️,” Ada lamented and thus echoing the thoughts of parents around the world!
In one snap, cute-as-a-button Johnas can be seen cuddling up to Ada rocking spikey hair and a very trendy jumper, jeans and trainers combo.
In the second photo, the tot poses with his grandmother in a mini-suit and tie. It’s all too much!
“Oh yes becoming mum makes the time flying so fast! Am the mum of 3 aged btwn 23, 24 & 29! Looking bck at those kids n also the years – very fast! But enjoy every moments till they leave home,” one fan explained.
“What a gorgeous little bundle of joy and now still gorgeous and yes they grow up so very quickly! Savour every moment Ada but I know you do that already with Johnas, such a cool dude he is 😊💙😎,” another penned.
“Yep treasure every moment,” a third agreed.

Ada welcomed her first son Johnas in 2012, with her husband at the time, Chrys Xipolitas.
While she does an amazing job juggling motherhood and work, Ada recently opened up to Good Health about the need to shatter this “having it all” fantasy.
Ada has made an effort to keep her Instagram as real and unfiltered as possible.
“I’ve always got about 10 balls in the air,” she said.
“But now I’m learning to let go. Instead of making five appointments in the day, I’ll just make one. Or rather than having a picture-perfect showroom home, I’ll let the house be messy so I can play with my son.”
Ada has also admitted a key lesson she’s learned as a parent is to find that balance between raising a well-rounded human and disciplining her son, but also letting his personality shine.
“I remember there was this moment when we were going down the escalators at our local shopping centre and he was just dancing away to the music, he likes to sing and dance and he’s quite loud,” Ada told Now To Love last year.
“So I said ‘Johnas maybe just stop doing that,’ and he goes, ‘What do you mean Mum, I’m just dancing!’ And I’m like yeah just keep dancing, who cares what everyone’s thinking? If the kid wants to dance, he can dance!”
