Yesterday, the New York Times did something very controversial.
And no, it wasn’t upping a candidate for their upcoming election, or making a provocative call on a political play.
It was much, MUCH worse.
In an article on their website, which was tweeted to their 17.7 million Twitter followers, one of their staff chefs posted a recipe for guacamole.
With peas.
That’s right. Captioned, “Add green peas to your guacamole. Trust us.”, the NYT broadcasted their guac-and-peas travesty to the whole world – and the whole world did. not. like it.
Everyone from President Obama, to presidential candidates, tweeted out their outrage at NYT’s audacious suggestion. And we’re joining in: guacamole is just perfect the way it is – without the addition of mushy peas.
And we have the best 8 guacamole recipes ever, from our sister site, Food To Love, to prove it to you. Read on.
