This Mumsnet user has captured all of our pre-holiday rage in this hilarious post.

“It’s too f**king early for Christmas,” one mother has taken to the internet to fume.

With Christmas only four months away, it was only a matter of time before our ears were greeted with the smooth, buttery vocals of Christmas poster boy Michael Bublé and retailers start setting up those obnoxious Christmas displays.

Honestly, it’s surprising that stores didn’t start selling Christmas cards last month.

Mumsnet user, ‘00100001’ started posted on the popular website under the section know as Am I Being Unreasonable? (AIBU) after spotting Christmas cards and chocolates in her local supermarket in the UK.

“It’s the middle of August. AUGUST! Oxford Street has its displays up, Tesco is selling Christmas bloody chocolates and charity shops have Christmas cards for sale,” the user said.

“‘It’s a whole third of a year before Christmas!'”

Her online rage over the early appearance of the Christmas merchandise had some people admitting they’ve already started buying Christmas presents.

Some users said yes, the original poster was being unreasonable and labelled them a Scrooge.

” I f**king love Christmas and, no, it’s never too early,” said one.

“The official countdown starts for me on 1st September. As you said, only a third of the year to go.”

Others admitted they had already started their Christmas shopping -for them, starting early means catching more sales and significant savings at a time of year when they are very much needed.

But most agreed with the original post, confirming Christmas should start on the “1st December. No earlier”.

“Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year, but even I agree with you. I don’t want to see any of it until November.”

And the biggest question that no one has addressed – is anyone really still sending Christmas cards?
