Sophie Monk has much to celebrate on her 38th birthday. This year has been one of the biggest yet for the Aussie beauty’s career; starring on The Bachelorette and landing top hosting gig on highly-anticipated dating show Love Island. Plus, Sophie’s personal life took a turn for the better when she fell in love with her Bachelorette beau, publican Stu Laundy, 44.
To mark Sophie’s special birthday on Thursday, Stu treated his girlfriend to a collection of romantic gifts. Clearly touched by the gesture, Sophie took to social media to gush over her thoughtful partner.

While celebrating her 38th birthday, Sophie posted a snap of her heart-felt gifts from Stu to her Instagram stories. In the picture, bunches for tropical blooms surrounded a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne and a large pink gift bag with the words ‘Birthday Girl’ emblazoned across it.
“Thank you @stulaundy44 for the best present ever,” loved-up Sophie wrote on the pic, stamped with a big red love heart emoji.
Sophie and Stu have faced endless speculation on the legitimacy of their relationship from the moment Stu landed in Sophie’s life (again!) via helicopter. However, Stu’s romantic birthday gesture surely silences the naysayers.
Further confirmation that Sophie and Stu are the real deal came last week when Sophie, who will be hosting new dating TV show Love Island in Spain, confirmed Stu will be joining her in the idyllic Spanish location while she’s filming.
“I’m super excited,” Sophie told OK! magazine. Sophie confirmed to the magazine that Stu will be joining her when he can take time away from his business: “not the whole time, but [he will] definitely visit,” she said.
