Duchess Catherine can capture an entire room’s attention simply by just being, and her latest appearance is case-in-point as she makes her most seasonally-on-point choice in outfit yet.
Stepping out at London’s Natural History Museum on Wednesday, October 9, the Duchess looked absolutely stunning in a top-and-trousers combo in the fitting Autumnal shades of berry and khaki.
And her reasoning for the glamorous visit made the spectacle all the more special, because it was in support of something dear to her heart, and for millions of others.
The Duchess, who has been busy back at work over the past month, was radiant as she met with guests and staffers present at the event.
For the occasion, Kate wore an affordable Warehouse fine knit jumper, which featured a high neckline and subtle embroidery detailing. She paired the style with some chic wide-legged khaki pants by Jigsaw – the perfect choice for an autumn day in the British city.
Wearing her hair in her signature loose waves (and rocking some lighter shades, we couldn’t help but notice!) and accessorising the look with an enviable Chanel bag, also berry coloured, as well as some smart Tod’s pumps in a matching shade, it would be safe to say Kate knocked this look out of the park.
Meeting with staffers from the Angela Marmont Centre, which is a scientific hub located in the Natural History Museum, Kate learnt about the incredible work they are doing for the environment.
Using research and citizen’s science projects, the Centre is helping to further understanding of more than 80,000 species and wildlife in the UK.
The Natural History Museum, of which Kate is a patron of, works closely with the Angela Marmont Centre to aid their research and studies in order to understand why the UK’s wildlife is changing.
The royal mum-of-three got stuck into things during the visit, viewing some of the museum’s specimens and seeing DNA sequencing in action.
The visit was a poignant one for Kate given her passion for nature and the outdoors, particularly for children and their development.
She believes nature and plenty of time outdoors can have a hugely positive impact on the physical and mental well-being of children.
Looking ahead, October is set to be a busy month for Kate, who is set to visit Pakistan this month alongside husband Prince William.
This will mark the first royal trip there in over 10 years, and will involve plenty of interesting engagements.
According to royal reporter Rebecca English, the pair are particularly looking forward to the culinary delights the country has to offer.

Last week, Kate and Wills stepped out to visit the Aga Khan Centre ahead of their overseas trip.
The event was a celebration of Pakistani culture in light of the upcoming visit, and Kate once again looked incredible wearing a long flowy teal dress designed by ARoss Girl.
Going by her current fashion home runs, we’re in for a serious fashion extravaganza when she and Wills touch down in the South Asian country.
