There are 52 complete weeks in a year and a calendar common year has 365 days.
However, a calendar leap year has 366 days, occurring every four years when February has 29 days.
How many weeks in a month?
Months all vary in lengths. If the month has 30 days, then it will have four weeks and two days.
However, if the month has 31 days, then it has four weeks and three days.
February is the exception as it has exactly four weeks, except in a leap year which has four weeks and one day.
What are Australia’s public holidays?
Public holidays in Australia are either national or state based.
It’s up to each individual state to decide if holidays can be substituted when they occur on weekends.
Generally, states allow for extra holidays if New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Christmas Day or Boxing Day fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
If this happens, a holiday on Monday is added.
