File this under: “We wish we knew this sooner!”
Just about everyone who’s ever done laundry has wondered how to dry clothes fast. Sure, our dryers work a lot quicker than air-drying ever would. But even the best quality dryer out there still leaves us anxiously checking our watch and wondering, “Is it done yet?”
Well, wonder know more with this genius trick on how to dry clothes fast. The secret to cutting your drying time down may be as simple as adding something a little extra to your load of wet clothes — a tea towel. We know, we know. It sounds a little strange at first glance.
But cleaning expert Shannon Lush swears by it, claiming that it will dry your clothes a third faster than what it would if you hadn’t put it in. In fact, Lush admitted she hated using clothes dryers at all, but if you absolutely have to, you should try putting the tea towel trick to use. The reasoning behind this strange hack?
“It wicks the water away and spreads the surface area for the dryer to do its work,” she said.
We don’t know about you, but if it allows us to dry our clothes in less time, we’re jumping on board immediately. We’ll be sure to bring an extra item along for our next laundry day!
