When host Scott Cam warned that season 15 of The Block would be the toughest year yet, many fans thought he may have been exaggerating.
But straight off the bat, the Blockheads were tasked with overhauling both a guest bedroom and an ensuite in the extremely tight timeframe of just one week.
With five teams taking on the challenge this year, only two were able to complete the guest bedroom.
And for the second room reveal – the guest ensuite – they only fared a little better, with just three teams presenting a completed space.
Tempers flared and tensions boiled as the pressure of what lies ahead when it comes to renovating The Oslo becomes terrifyingly clear.
While some teams like Jesse and Mel floundered and didn’t finish tiling their bathrooms, others like Andy and Deb were able to flourish and this week showed off a room that oozed old Hollywood glam.

After failing to finish their guest bedroom, Tess and Luke had the dubious honour of being the only team to also not finish their bathroom. The judges said the bathroom was too large for a guest room and warned them they will run out of money if they spend too much on less important spaces.
