2015 saw some seriously shocking splits in celeb-land, and we’re still reeling from some of the announcements.

From long-term relationships to slightly shorter marriages, there was a lot of heartbreak for some in Hollywood this year.

Packed to the Rafters co-stars Jessica Marais and James Stewart officially announced their split in May.

Charlize Theron’s two-and-a-half year relationship with Sean Penn was confirmed as over in June 2015.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez called quits on their three-year marriage in October.

Fans were shocked when Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale separated after 13 years of marriage.

Kaley Cuoco married tennis player Ryan Sweeting just months after they met in 2013. She filed divorce proceedings in September of this year, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Clare and Lachlan, who met on Channel 9’s Married at First Sight split a few months after the show aired.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, who met in 2004, went their separate ways at the beginning of this year.

Sadly, Jon Hamm and his partner of 18 years Jennifer Westfeldt split up in September after a trouble year for the Mad Men actor.

Rumours swirled when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their separation this year, with many accusing Affleck of cheating on Jen with their children’s nanny.

Model and TV presenter Sophie Falkiner announced her split from Tony Thomas in November, after 14 years of marriage.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield called time on their relationship in October.

And in the most shocking split this year, The Muppet Show power couple Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog announced they were parting ways in August 2015. We’re still holding out hope for a reunion here!
