Dean and Shay Paine have been crowned the winners of the hit show The Block after they sold their penthouse apartment for $2.3 million in last night’s epic finale.
The so-called ‘Golden Couple’ took out the prize with their modern penthouse apartment, which the judges described as “magnificent” and “theatrical”.
The electrician and school teacher nabbed about $655,000 plus an extra $100,000 as prize money and a car.
The South Yarra penthouse boasts stone flooring, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious terrace.
