Imagine being able to say that you’re living in Hugh Jackman’s holiday home? Well that could be a reality, that is if you have enough money to cover the rent.
The much-love Australian actor, Hugh Jackman, and his wife, actress Deborra-Lee Furness, have put their Hamptons summer getaway up for rent during the winter season, at a cost of over $240,000 AUD per month.
The property was purchased by the couple in 2015 for $5 million but has since undergone a re-build that took six years.
The waterfront property is 5,000 square feet and boasts five bedrooms, 5 and a half bathrooms, a gym, a theater, pool and Jacuzzi.
The Hamptons holiday home was a lifelong dream for Deborra-Lee, as the couple spent years searching for the perfect piece of land for the project.
The 67 year old actress told Architectural Digest, “It’s like, bucket list, tick it off. I’ve done it, and I loved it.”
The listing for the rental boasts that the residence was completed to the “highest end construction” and that the interior designer, Eleanor Donnelly, created a environment of “zen tranquility”.
The property sits high on the East Hamptons bluff, which is said to allow for ‘spectacular’ views.
The holiday home is just one of many in the couples property portfolio. In August 2022 Jackman spent $22.1 million for a glam New York City penthouse, whilst a couple months earlier he listed a nearby triplex for $38.9 million, which remains for sale.
