It’s been a rocky few years for Cass Thorburn, but now she is moving on to the next stage of her life after selling the home she once shared with Karl Stefanovic.
The Studio 10 panellist took to Instagram to share her happy news and after seeing the pictures of the house, we’re jealous of the new owners!
The ex wife of Karl Stefanovic shared an image of herself and real estate agent Piers van Hamburg along with an image of the living room of the home, located on Sydney’s north shore.
“SOLD! Thank you Piers! A new chapter awaits,” a delighted Cass captioned her post.
Her followers commented with messages of congratulations to Cass ahead of her new chapter.
“Congratulations Cass, all the best for a happy future,” one penned.
Another wrote, “Best wishes for All the peace , love & happiness in the world for you and yours in your new abode!”
One of Cass’ Instagram followers wrote, “Congratulations Cass! I’m so glad I got to visit. Good luck with your exciting move. Has the new place got as many stairs?” to which the TV journalist replied, “The hunt for a new home can begin. I’ll be sure to count the stairs.”
According to Domain, the three-level property in the Sydney suburb of Cremorne includes five bedrooms, formal and informal living areas, an indoor swimming pool, steam room and wine cellar.
Cass and Karl’s former home was on the market for three weeks before Domain reported that it was sold for “more than $9 million” to “a local family.” The couple originally bought the Cremorne property for $8 million in June 2016.

In an interview with The Project‘s Lisa Wilkinson, Cass previously revealed that she’s “very happy” in this new stage of her life as a single mum to Jackson, Ava and River.
“Like my memorable year dance on Dancing With The Stars. 2016 was my most memorable year and it was a happy dance because at the end of that year I’d gotten to know myself better,” she confessed.
“I guess I just found my place as who I was and what was important to me all of a sudden and what was going to be best for my children when they’re with me.”
“So I’ve embraced it. I’m really happy. Turns out I can’t dance and I like having a good time!” she joked.
Speaking to the Australian Women’s Weekly last year, Cass opened up about her divorce and how she’s emerged from it stronger than ever.
“Thankfully I’ve been gifted with enough resilience and strength to have got us all through these past two years,” she revealed.
“It has been a real adjustment period for me.”
