So Heathrow have just released their second EVER Christmas advert and we’ve already watched it about 16373720 times.
The advert follows the 50-year-long love story of Doris and Edward Bair (AKA the world’s cutest teddy bears), who we met in last year’s ad. Also can we just take a moment to appreciate their surname? Bair – get it?
The ad is set in the 1960’s and filmed in the historic but now closed Heathrow Terminal One -the place where the bears first set eyes on each other. Edward was travelling home from a work trip abroad, but when leaving the plane he accidentally forgets to pick up his coat. Then comes Doris – the airline’s air stewardess – to the rescue.
She chases after him to return the coat, they lock eyes, and the rest is history. AWW.
For the rest of the ad, we see a series of heart-warming moments with Doris and Edward falling even more in love every Christmas – each time re-meeting at Heathrow. Throughout the advert, they can be seen exchanging cute Christmas gifts during the festive season, and we even get to meet the rest of the Bair family, who come along to greet the loved-up couple in the same spot that they first met. Our hearts literally can’t take the cuteness.
If you’re yet to see the advert – which, by the way, features Petula Clark’s Couldn’t Live Without Your Love soundtrack, you can watch it above.
The story was originally published on Heat World.
