Two names come to mind when thinking about doughnuts (which we’re all doing on the regular, obviously), The Simpsons and Krispy Kreme.
The doughnut gods must be smiling on us on us because these two iconic brands have converged and bestowed upon us Australia’s first official Simpsons D’ohnut.
This in itself is a sweet enough treat, but the celebrations for the release of this pink frosted treat don’t stop there.
On Thursday, March 29th, anyone with the last name “Simpson” can get a FREE* D’ohnut just by showing photo ID at their nearest Krispy Kreme store.

The D’ohnut uses the original Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut and then dunks it in strawberry-flavoured white chocolate truffle (stop – wipe the drool of your chin) and sprinkles for that perfect Simpson-esque finish.
Don’t worry if your last name isn’t Simpson, Aussies can get their hands on the official Simpsons D’ohnut by visiting a Krispy Kreme or 7-Eleven stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia from April 30th.
*Limit one per person from Krispy Kreme stores in NSW, VIC, WA and QLD. Giveaway not redeemable in 7-Eleven, SA stores or Jesters (WA). Valid Photo identification proving surname “Simpson” required to redeem free D’ohnut.
