French baking show creates devilishly good Halloween cakes

Le Meilleur Pâtissier (translated as “The Best Baker”) is a French spin-off of the beloved, Great British Bake-off and last night they took Halloween baking to a whole new level.

The show’s host, Cyril Lignac asked contestants to create a spooky twist on a well-loved classic dish, and the show concluded in a horrifying crescendo when the creative challenged asked the aspiring French bakers to scare the judges by creating the most spooky cake possible.

One of the contestants is a funeral director, would he get an unfair advantage?
