In light of recent news that the fashion icon simply “can’t do heels anymore”, we’re taking a moment to celebrate her best ever, most outrageous heels.
After a lifetime in the spotlight strutting around in sky scraping stilettos, it seems Victoria Beckham has finally thrown in the towel on the painful pumps.
Speaking to The Telegraph, the ex-Spice Girl turned fashion icon, explained that a life spent on her tippy toes has finally taken its toll on her body, and the stylish aspect of the shoe is no longer out-weighing the practicality.
“I just can’t do heels any more. At least not when I’m working. I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable,” she said.
Although we might agree that sometimes comfort is the key, we do feel a little bit sad to say farewell to the mother-of-four’s outrageous shoe history.
So we’re saying farewell with a gallery of her most memorable kicks!
